THE CLAUDE M. WILSON SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The scholarship:

Rhine Marketing Corporation fulfills its commitment to give due recognition to the outstanding achievements of fresh high school graduates in Cebu, thereby making them role models of academic excellence among the studentry, launched in school year 1980-81 the Claude M. Wilson Scholarship Program, a college scholarship grant, jointly with the Kiwanis Club of Cebu and the Department of Education, Region VII.

Claude M. Wilson Scholarship Program is named after the late Claude Marion Wilson, Jr., the founder of Rhine Marketing Corporation.

The scholars may enroll in any accredited school in Cebu and in Manila in any bachelor's degree of their choice. Aside from the educational financial assistance, the scholars were also given the opportunity to have an early perspective of actual office work through Rhine's Summer Job Program.

Since 1980, 16 have graduated Summa Cum Laude, 58 Magna Cum Laude, and 32 Cum Laude. To date (as of school year 2011-2012), 16 students are pursuing their college degrees under the program.
